Job title – Multi-Skilled Engineer

Location – Malton, YO17 9RD

Salary – Up to £41,000 per annum

Duration – Perm/Full-time

An opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the global leader in high-performance insulation and building envelope solutions. Due to continued success and growth they are looking to expand their engineering team to help with future projects and investments.

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Dealing with mechanical and electrical breakdowns and in a timely and efficient manner
• Working in line with all relevant standards, processes and site quality systems as required
• Carrying out servicing and maintenance on a range of equipment
• Working in line with PPM as well as deal with reactive faults as and when required
• Applying good standards of engineering practice at all times
• Providing guidance and training to fellow technicians, and offering input on improvements
• Carrying out installation work, to include modifying existing equipment and installing new equipment

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer who has the following skills and experiences:

About You

• Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical, BTEC level 3 in mechanical & electrical/electronic engineering).
• A proven track record in an engineering and fault-finding role gained from a Manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Assertive with the ability to make decisions on the spot.
• A can do attitude and a strong work ethic.
