An exciting opportunity has arisen for Technical Manager on behalf of a market leading, national fast-growing food manufacturing company near Hull. You’ll oversee all the technical aspects of food manufacture within the company including quality systems and food safety. This position as a Technical manager would be ideal for candidates who are looking for further development and to take the next step in their professional career.

As a Technical Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring all processes meet legal requirements.
• Directing the company’s quality management system to ensure compliance with standards such as those set by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) procedures on food handling
• Representing the business on all technical-related matters
• Reviewing plans to improve site and customer KPI’s
• Actively involved with managing budgets for the Technical team
• Ensuring health and safety are always prioritised
• Maintaining good relationships with customers
• Ensuring training plans are in place for all team members to help with development

Previous technical experience is required for this position as well as a strong knowledge and understanding of the principles of HACCP and Food Hygiene. The role will require you to work Monday-Friday on days, however you will need to be flexible depending on workload.
