We are proud to be working with an expanding manufacturing business working in a niche market who are seeking a Quality Engineer to help them maintain their high standard of product.

Based in Driffield this position is commutable from Bridlington, Scarborough, Beverley, Hull, Malton, they have on-site parking and you will receive over £20,000pa if successful.  Working Mon – Thurs day shifts.

As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Conducting inspections against customer supplied specifications, drawings, CAD etc.
• Recording and maintaining inspection and test records.
• Working with purchasing staff to establish/maintain high quality requirements from suppliers
• Increasing manufacturing efficiency and reduce waste
• Verifying manufacturing processes output is complaint with order requirement.
• Liaising with customers and suppliers on quality issues, reviewing customers’ requirements to ensure they are met dealing with any returns or complaints effectively.
• Conducting and carry out internal audits, support internal auditors carrying out systems and process audits.
• Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
• Ensuring the manufacturing and production process meets the relevant national and international standards.
• The calibration of inspection, measuring and test equipment in line with company procedures.
