Castle Engineering and Manufacturing are proud to be working with one of the top manufactures in the local Scarborough area, who are looking to recruit an Industrial Engineer into the business.

The Industrial Engineer will find ways to prevent waste and inefficiency in production processes. They will adapt and implement LEAN tools and techniques to create efficient systems that integrate
workers, information, machines, energy and materials to manufacture the products. They will also
work in a support role for CAPEX projects and Industrial Deployment projects.

As an Industrial Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Developing and designing robust manufacturing concepts to simplify/improve manufacturing processes to ensure best practice, performing structural analyses of components and assemblies, building prototypes, evaluating performance, identifying issues, and make improvement
• Identifying opportunities to prevent waste and inefficiency in production
• Researching and testing design ideas
• Engaging with Continuous improvement activities
• Creating and maintaining required manufacturing process documentation, including process flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis and line balancing

We are looking to hear from time served Industrial Engineers who come from a manufacturing environment. Must have LEAN – 6Sigma techniques and methodologies, and Green Belt or relevant similar experience. Salary is up to £38,000 depending on experience.
