A well-established leading manufacturing company based in the Driffield area is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Co-Ordinator to join the business. As the successful Health and Safety Co-Ordinator, you will have previous supervisory/ team leader experience and be looking to further develop your career.
As Health and Safety Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for;
- Providing expert knowledge and skills in order to generate and promote a positive health and safety culture;
- Responsible for ensuring that all safety legislation is adhered to and policies and practices are adopted;
- Planning, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the protective and preventative measures that we as a business follow, occupational health problems, accidents and injuries;
- Ensuring provision and coordination of the documentation, training, facilities and equipment required to undertake personal and Company responsibilities for occupational health, safety and welfare;

The salary is advertised as up to £35,000 depending on experience and you will be working a Monday-Friday, days based shift pattern.
I am really keen to see your CV if you have previous experience within a Health and Safety Co-Ordinator role within a Manufacturing/FMCG environment. You will have a NEBOSH Qualification, previous Health & Safety knowledge and experience along with FLT/Noise/COSHH. You will like to work at speed and be able to think on your feet and be creative in your approach to difficult situations.
