A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Factory Manager within a highly successful Food Manufacturing business based in York. To be successful as a Factory Manager, you should demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills and resolve any issues that may derail production. Ultimately, a top-performing Factory Manager should have exceptional communication, management, and leadership skills to ensure that factory operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage all aspects of the day to day running of the site
• Analysing production data to identify and resolve any production issues
• Training and developing staff in order to achieve their full potential
• Ensuring KPI’s are being achieved and working towards tight deadlines
• Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations
• Ensuring Health and Safety policies are followed always
• Responsible for contributing to and carrying out production strategy decisions

I am keen to hear from you if you have previous Factory Manager experience within the Food industry. Knowledge of an MRP system and experience with Sage 200 manufacturing software or similar would be an advantage.
