This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global, market leading food business who are looking for an experienced Shift Manager to join their team in the Selby area.  

Your role as Shift Manager is to lead, motivate and manage a production team of approximately 40 employees.

As a Shift Manager your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Implementing daily work schedules/instructions for team
• Working towards the development of the long-term manufacturing strategy.
• Driving shift performance and team engagement to improve production standards,
• Ensure all workers on shift are working in line company process and policies.
• To provide coaching and mentoring in order to develop people to achieve their full potential
• Ensuring that daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s are being met and conducted within set time frames.
• Identify any improvement opportunities
• Problem shooting and ensuring that any problems are rectified, and downtime is minimised

The salary is advertised between £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience. As a Shift Manager, you will be working 4 on/4off 12-hour shift pattern.

To be considered for this position as a Shift Manager you must have experience within FMCG production environment and knowledge of Food safety legislation.
