Position Overview
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious law firm to find an experienced Immigration Paralegal. This role involves supporting immigration attorneys with a wide range of responsibilities related to employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions. The position is full-time and located onsite.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions, labor certification applications, immigrant visa petitions, permanent resident applications, and U.S. citizenship applications.
- Assisting immigration attorneys in assessing immigration options for corporate clients.
- Obtaining U.S. work authorization for foreign nationals and maintaining valid visa status for clients' foreign national populations.
- Preparing labor certification documents and overseeing labor certification recruitment processes.
- Preparing letters in support of visa petitions and maintaining correspondence with clients.
- Collecting evidence and visa documentation from clients and conducting case audits.
- Maintaining contact with government agencies and researching visa application procedures and requirements.
- Maintaining client databases regarding approval and validity dates of visa petitions.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of business immigration experience.
- Detail-oriented and highly analytical with exceptional writing and communication skills.
- Experience with temporary work visas (including L-1A, L-1B, E-2, E-1, H-1B, O-1), PERM labor certifications, immigrant visas (employment-based), consular representation, adjustment of status application, and U.S. citizenship.
- Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Proficient in Immigration tracking software.
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, full-time schedule.
Benefits
Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 per year.
