About the role

The Student Recruitment Advisor – Emerging Accounts (SRA-EA) is responsible for pro-actively driving the performance of new and low volume agents, known internally as Emerging Accounts.  They will work closely with sales and marketing specialists in ensuring service center/remote student recruitment strategies are developed and executed, and raise the profile of Navitas colleges amongst their agent remit.  The SRA-EA will handle and see through to resolution agent queries regarding students, admissions, commissions, administration and compliance.  A key driver in the role is to see agents emerge and grow from being low volume to establishing high yielding, sustainable relationships.  The role requires a practical knowledge of marketing and student recruitment within the international education environment and specifically student recruitment through agent networks for study abroad.  

Key Result Areas:

  • Manage, engage and support with identified network of new and low volume agents (Emerging Accounts) in accordance with all the Ethical Framework, Principles and Standards as set out in the “Agent Code of Ethics” as well as specific jurisdictional requirements.
  • Agent enquiries re: students, admissions, commission and agent admin/compliance from Emerging Account partners.
  • Support growth of Emerging Account agents to a level where they can be classified as a Key Account.
  • Devise and deliver service center/remote sales strategies and in-market activities for the Emerging Accounts to drive enrolment growth and ensure partner compliance.
  • Train Emerging Account agents in Navitas Products and UP value propositions.
  • Use of CRM tool to drive business decisions and to demonstrate management of agents in accordance with legislative requirements.

The person we seek will ideally have the following:

  • Can be understood in written and spoken English plus local language requirements.
  • Relevant tertiary education.
  • Understanding of the international education industry and its legislative requirements.
  • Successful sales and marketing experience.
  • Has used CRM tools to drive business decisions.
  • Previous experience within a customer service focused role.
  • Demonstrated flexible attitude to work (e.g., in hours and content), including a willingness to work weekends and evenings in support of recruitment activities both locally and internationally.
  • Demonstrated and proven ability to work autonomously and collaborate as a team player.
  • Driven, honest and collaborative.
  • Culturally sensitive, ethical and globally aware.

Desirable:

  • Demonstrated innovative thinking and proactive work habits including an eye for detail and for new sales opportunities.
  • Has successfully worked in a KPI driven environment achieving sales targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver to tight deadlines, changing priorities and to take accountability for decisions and outcomes
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of student enrolment requirements, processes, and procedures.
  • Competent MS skills with the ability to grasp new systems easily and quickly.
  • Creative yet analytical, organized and structured.
