• Establish the projected workload of the design production team (on a weekly basis) by assigning resources to documentation production
• Control the design production in terms of physical progress and perform the documentation review (verification)
• Detect technical blocking points and alert the upper management and coordination team
• Point the documentary progress and ensure the recovery of the technical blocking points
• Record all the technical variations
• Ensure the design fulfil the requirements analysis
• Alert in the event of drifts planning, budget and workload
• Work closely with the project manager and coordination team during all phases of development lifecycle
• Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined discipline to guarantee that the design will fulfil with safety regulation, compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
• Coordinate with other Contractors/Groups (Internal subcontractor or External G’s) and with internal disciplines (HVAC smoke extraction and cooling, CC & Workshop Equipment) for gathering all the electrical data & loads required for the project.
• Prepare the Material Take Off (MTO) for the project with the guidance of the construction team to avoid any conflicts during installation.
• Verify Civil works done on site by other Contractors/Groups as per the received civil drawings to ensure that there is no major conflict for installation of the HVAC works/Equipment on site as per the installation drawings.
• Coordinate with the other G’s for the required data that needed for the design process
• Control and manage the job disruption on the design team according to work load and task priority
• Evaluate and verify the design personal efficiency and skills

Qualifications/Experience required

• Several years of experience in E/M and HVAC activities (Chilled Water Units knowledge welcomed)
• Expertise and knowledge confirmed in the field of electrical activities (rules and standards in practice).
• Good knowledge of PLCs and functions available for integration into our control command and control processes. At the end of the process realization of Logic -Diagrams allowing to elaborate a functional analysis.
• Experience in the elaboration of diagrams developed for the implementation of processes for control cabinets/controls for Electro-mechanical equipment (Chillers, Fans, Pumps, Escalators, Elevators...)
• Confirmed knowledge of the use of CAD-Electrical, E plan, Visio software tools............ ( knowledge of TIA Portal Siemens software suite is welcomed)
• The capacity to lead a design entity for the production and planning of documents to be produced as part of our E/M & HVAC activities.
• Easy use of software (Xcel, Word Power Point,......) to participate in the creation and editing (in English) of contractual documents (Technical Files, Functional analysis, FAT and SAT documents, Maintenance and training books)
• Frequent on-site visits for validation of selected processes. Required availability and possible trips to our suppliers for the realization (in the presence of our customer) of FAT, reception and validation of equipment.
• Master degree or equivalent.
• Candidate must have at least 5 years work experience with evidence of leadership on at least 1 large project
• Broad technical knowledge of Electromechanical systems is a must, experience in metro is an immense plus,
• Experienced in Air conditioning and Smoke Extraction and Fire Life Safety is necessary. Tunnel Ventilation is a plus
• Experience in design, engineering and requirement management is a must, Interfaces and RAMS is a plus
• English proficiency is mandatory (reading/writing/speaking) – French is a plus
