We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to help facilitate and participate in the day to day warehouse operations in Landover, MD. A qualified candidate will thrive in a face-pace team environment, possess a can-do attitude, and have the ability to motivate a team.

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire
Shift: Nights Sunday-Thursday 8pm-7am
Pay: $65,000-75,000 based on experience

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Oversee day-to-day receiving, warehousing, and distribution plans to maximize output
• Oversee daily picking, aiming for accuracy with picking, order fulfillment, and inventory counts
• Inspect inbound containers for accuracy and product defects reporting findings to the General Manager
• Oversee and participate in warehouse activities including palletizing, sorting, unloading, etc.
• Ensure all warehouse tools and equipment are in good condition and stay well maintained to prevent equipment failures
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment
• Enforce optimal operational policies and procedures in compliance with company's strategic plans and vision
• Work with manager to maintain safety and security standards, create incident prevention plans, promptly address all potential hazards, complete weekly safety audits
• Assist with the flow of information between management and warehouse crew
• Monitoring KPI's

Experience/Skills/Education

• 4+ years of successful supervisor experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
• Experience operating various PITs (reach truck and EPJ)
• Advanced skills with excel functions and formulas
• Ability to drive/move box trucks in parking lot - clean driving record
• Knowledge of warehousing KPIs
• Strong, data driven decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic, team player mentality
• Demonstrated ability to motivate a team
• Ability to stand, swoop, bend, and lift 50 lbs
