Warehouse Team Leader

Meat Factory | Derby

Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM

 5 Days out of 7 Rota

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy and growing meat processing factory in Derby, with a start date in November.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who has experience supervising warehouse operations and managing teams within a fast-paced production or logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

 Leading and supervising warehouse staff on shift

 Ensuring goods are picked, packed, loaded, and dispatched accurately

 Monitoring productivity and ensuring daily targets are achieved

 Organising workloads and staffing levels effectively

 Maintaining stock accuracy and warehouse organisation

 Ensuring all Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures are followed

 Conducting team briefings and providing support to warehouse operatives Reporting operational issues and liaising with management

 Training and developing team members

Requirements

 Previous Team Leader or Supervisory experience within a warehouse environment

 Strong leadership and communication skills

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 Good organisational and problem-solving abilities

 Experience within the food manufacturing or meat industry is desirable

 Forklift licence beneficial but not essential

 Reliable, flexible, and able to work a 5 out of 7 rota
