Evening Shift: 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM

Starting November

We are currently seeking an experienced Packing / Portion Supervisor to join a busy meat processing factory based in Derby, starting in November.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hands-on supervisor to lead a production team within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

 Supervising the packing and portioning teams to ensure daily production targets are achieved

 Leading, motivating, and supporting operatives throughout the shift

 Ensuring products are packed and portioned to customer specifications

 Monitoring quality standards and food safety procedures

 Managing staff attendance, performance, and productivity

 Completing production paperwork and shift reports

 Maintaining high standards of hygiene, health & safety, and housekeeping

 Assisting with staff training and induction of new starters

Requirements

 Previous supervisory experience within food production, packing, manufacturing, or the meat industry

 Strong leadership and communication skills

 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

 Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety regulations

 Reliable, organised, and proactive approach to work

 Experience within a meat processing environment is highly desirable
