QA Auditor

Meat Factory | Derby

Monday - Friday | 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM

We are currently recruiting for a QA Auditor to join a busy and well-established meat processing factory in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with experience in quality assurance, food safety, and compliance within a food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

 Conducting quality checks throughout the production process

 Monitoring food safety, hygiene, and GMP standards

 Completing audits and quality documentation accurately

 Identifying and reporting non-conformances

 Ensuring products meet customer specifications and company standards

 Conducting temperature, weight, and quality checks

 Supporting production teams to maintain compliance

 Assisting with internal and external audits

 Promoting a culture of quality, food safety, and continuous improvement

Requirements

 Previous QA, Quality Control, or Auditing experience within food manufacturing

 Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards

 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

 Good written and verbal communication skills

 Ability to work independently and confidently within a fast-paced environment

 Experience within the meat industry is desirable but not essential
