Spring Professional is looking for a Senior Platform Support Engineer(m/f), to take the lead on designing, building, automating solutions across on-premise datacenters and remote sites, for a multinational company in the health sector, based in Lisbon.
Responsabilities:

Lead small project works across IT Infrastructure and involved in Design, Planning and Engineering;

Drive continuous service improvement across the infrastructure and operations team;

Train and mentor junior members of the team;

Manage and be an escalation point for 3rd Level IT infrastructure issues;

Work closely with 3rd party vendors to replace and improve IT hardware infrastructure;

Follow policies and procedures, as well as recommending improvements;

Installation, configuration, upgrading software and related products.
Technical skillset:
-
Excellent knowledge of Compute, Storage Networks;

Windows support, hardening and security improvement;
-
Virtualisation administration (VMWare, Hyper-V, containers);
-
Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions;

Understanding of network processes and hardware;

IT related qualification preferable (Degree in Computer Science);

Good understand of backup, recovery technologies and automation technologies;

Basic experience working in the public cloud framework.
