11 hours per day, 4 shifts per week, 2 days and 2 nights

Our client is a leading aviation service provider specialising in bespoke aircraft components and Support Solutions. The company works closely with Maintenance and Repair Organisations worldwide and in recent years has become one of the largest stockists of aircraft components in the world.

Due to ongoing expansion and a high volume of business, our client is looking to appoint an AOG Support Executive to join the existing AOG Sales Team.

Overview
The AOG Sales team operates on a 24-hour, 365 days a year basis. Reporting to the Vice President of AOG Sales, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer support in a courteous and timely manner, whilst managing inventory to ensure sales revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to out-of-hours customer calls and enquiries
  • Respond to customer AOG and priority requirements within suitable time frames
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Manage customer accounts and contracts, including specific requirements
  • Trade company inventory by means of exchange, loan, and sale
  • Purchase items where required for customers and brokered transactions
  • Negotiate with customer and suppliers where required
  • Maintain knowledge of individual customer accounts and ways of trading
  • Maintain up to date market knowledge
  • Maximise all sales opportunities to ensure the highest revenues are achieved
  • Consult with internal departments as the nature of the specific task may require
  • Assist with the training and development of other staff as required
  • Assist the AOG Sales Manager and Vice President AOG Sales where required
  • Understand and comply with Export Control regulations where applicable
  • Other duties as requested



Required Skills and Experience:

  • A background in aviation or rotable trading would be preferred
  • An understanding of aircraft components and airline AOG support services would be an advantage
  • A background in a customer services environment
  • Proficient MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours, new processes, and procedures
  • An excellent problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as plan and prioritise your workload
  • Numerate, with an ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated, flexible, with an ability to work in a high-pressured environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A professional and courteous telephone manner
  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workloads
  • Experience of Quantum would be an advantage
