Position: Quality Engineer

Location: Walsall

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (negotiable)

A Quality Engineer with experience of conducting quality evaluation on manufactured goods, bought out goods metal production including pressings/stamping, laser cutting and some machining.

The role of Quality Engineer will include the following:

• Checking quality of production parts against the required specification and tolerance.
• Documenting all quality checks and following up to identify route causes to problems.
• Follow quality process and adhere to the company's ISO 9001 framework.
• Ensure robust, diligent approach to quality with first and last off inspection.

The suitable candidate for Quality Engineer will need to possess the following skills and experience:

• Experienced Quality Engineer or Quality Inspector ready for a step up in responsibility.
• Familiar with sheet metal, pressings/stamping, laser cutting processes is highly desirable.
• Technical qualification in Engineering is highly desirable.
