The Overview

We’re partnering with a national organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Analyst. This role will play a key part in an active payroll remediation project, requiring strong Excel capability, analytical thinking, and the ability to interpret and report on complex payroll data. You’ll support the project by reviewing reports, identifying issues, and providing clear visibility on progress and outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Support a payroll remediation program through detailed analysis and reporting.
• Review payroll and remediation reports to identify discrepancies, trends, and root causes.
• Investigate issues and data to validate accuracy and completeness.
• Consolidate payroll data from multiple sources to produce clear, actionable reports.
• Design and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards to provide regular project updates.
• Work closely with Payroll, HR, and project stakeholders to communicate findings and progress.

What They’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst, ideally within remediation, reconciliation, or payroll projects.
• Advanced Excel skills, including reporting, data consolidation, and dashboard creation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex payroll data and identify issues.
• Experience working with review and exception reports to support remediation activities.
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
• Confident communicator who can work effectively with payroll teams and project stakeholders.
