About the opportunity

  • Establish KOL relationships
  • Data generation projects
  • Providing Medical “Therapeutic area expert” input into overall launch and product strategy to colleagues in regulatory affairs, health economics, marketing, market access prior to launch or for new indications
  • Ensures Medical leadership during Brand & Medical Cross Functional Team meetings
  • Commitment to improvement in patient outcomes

 

Duties

  • Responsibility for development of KOL engagement and development plans
  • Developing the Medical Education plan for products and all associated materials, working with medical education team for delivery on plans
  • Input and approval of MSL KOL / HCP plans and other initiatives
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving all Materials and requests for KOL/HCP engagements
  • Critically appraises current perception of existing treatment in the therapy area and own product perceptions whilst developing approaches to manage
  • Organisation of National Scientific Advisory Boards and Scientific Committees (in conjunction Marketing Functions) as required

 

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum education: Medical Degree and/or PhD and/or Master’s Degree or equivalent
  • Preferred related industry experience: lengthy experience Healthcare / Pharm
  • Postgraduate qualifications in science, public health, or drug development desired
  • Broad healthcare system knowledge and understanding of evidence-based approach,
  • Appropriate industry exposure or experience, desktop investigational/research skills or clinical research experience
  • Experienced within: cross functional teams, marketing, sales amongst other commercial functions, KOL/ HCP engagement
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders within a complex matrix environment
  • Prior management experience within a high performing team essential with outstanding leadership qualities
