Salary: GBP50000 - GBP60000 per annum

HR Manager (Standalone) | London City East | Up to £60,000 | Predominantly On-Site

Not every HR Manager role gives you the chance to genuinely shape the culture of a business.

This one does.

We are working exclusively with a well-established, multi-site hospitality business looking for a commercially minded standalone HR Manager to become a trusted member of the senior leadership team.

This isn't a role where you'll sit behind policies or spend your day ticking HR boxes. You'll be the go-to person for everything people-related, partnering with managers, influencing decisions, driving engagement, supporting recruitment and ensuring the business has the right people strategy to continue growing.

You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, introduce new ideas and build credibility across the operation.

What you'll be doing

  • Acting as the standalone HR lead for the site.
  • Partnering with senior managers and coaching leaders through people challenges.
  • Managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to exit.
  • Leading on employee relations, engagement, wellbeing and performance.
  • Supporting learning and development initiatives and succession planning.
  • Ensuring HR compliance, policies and employment legislation are embedded across the bus iness.
  • Helping create a culture where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.

What they are looking for

This role isn't for someone looking to step away from operations. We want to speak with experienced HR professionals who have worked within fast-paced, customer facing environments

Such as:

  • Hospitality
  • Hotels
  • Leisure
  • Retail
  • Restaurant or pub groups

You'll be confident working autonomously, comfortable building relationships with stakeholders at every level and able to balance the commercial needs of the business with doing the right thing for its people.

The package

  • Salary up to £60,000 Predominantly on-site position with some flexibility
  • A genuine opportunity to influence culture and make the role your own
  • Supportive senior leadership team
  • A business where your ideas will be listened to rather than lost in layers of hierarchy

If you're an HR Manager who enjoys being visible, building relationships and making a real impact on a business rather than simply maintaining processes, we'd love to hear from you.
