L&D Advisor | Enfield | £43,000 | Onsite | Full time
We’re looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional who knows that modern L&D is about more than delivering training.
This is an opportunity to join a growing team and shape learning experiences that build capability, improve performance and support business growth. You’ll bring fresh thinking, challenge traditional approaches and explore new technologies to create engaging, effective learning solutions.
Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll work with managers and employees across the business to identify development needs, design and deliver learning interventions, and improve the way people experience learning across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deliver and improve L&D programmes for different employee groups.
- Lead engaging induction and onboarding experiences that help new employees succeed.
- Partner with managers to identify capability gaps and develop targeted solutions.
- Support talent development, career pathways and succession planning.
- Create blended learning that combines face-to-face, digital and self-directed approaches.
- Use AI tools and emerging technologies to improve learning design, content and engagement.
- Evaluate programmes using feedback, data and performance measures, then use the findings to improve outcomes.
- Build strong relationships as a visible and credible L&D partner across the business.
- Bring new ideas to support the growth and development of the L&D function.
About you
You’ll have experience working in an L&D function and feel confident managing learning initiatives from design through to delivery and evaluation.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in an L&D Advisor, Learning Partner, Learning Consultant or similar role.
- A background in designing as well as delivering learning solutions.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to talent development, career frameworks or succession planning.
- Experience creating digital learning content and using learning technologies.
- An interest in AI and new approaches to learning and capability development.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and feedback to improve learning.
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to introduce ideas and challenge existing ways of working.
What’s important
This isn’t a training coordinator or purely facilitation-focused role. We’re looking for someone who can combine strong delivery skills with learning design, innovation, technology and continuous improvement.
You’ll be excited about the future of L&D and understand how AI, digital learning and modern learning practices can support employee development and business performance.
