Salary: GBP40000 - GBP40000 per annum

L&D Advisor | Enfield | £40,000 | Onsite | Full Time | June/July Start

Reporting to the L&D Manager, this role is all about being visible, hands-on, and building strong relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders to bring learning initiatives to life.

This is a practical, delivery-focused role, it’s about execution, engagement, and presence rather than owning L&D strategy.

What you’ll do

  • Take ownership of the employee induction experience, ensuring new starters feel welcomed, engaged, and clear on organisational values and ways of working
  • Facilitate learning sessions, workshops, and development activities
  • Coordinate learning logistics, including scheduling, attendance, materials, and on-site delivery
  • Partner with managers to identify learning needs and boost engagement with development initiatives
  • Support the embedding of a consistent learning culture across the site
  • Provide feedback to the L&D Manager on programme effectiveness and emerging development needs
  • Contribute to the growth of the L&D function as it expands

About you

This role suits a delivery-led L&D professional with credibility and presence on site. You are confident in a visible role and comfortable being the day-to-day face of learning and development.

You will ideally bring:

  • Proven experience delivering inductions, workshops, and development sessions in person
  • Confidence facilitating groups at all levels, from early career to experienced professionals
  • Hands-on experience managing structured onboarding programmes and improving the new starter experience
  • Exposure to career pathways, progression frameworks, capability models, or talent development programmes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working closely with line managers and employees in a face-to-face environment
  • Solid operational L&D capability, including coordinating learning activity end-to-end
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Working style and fit

  • Comfortable being on site five days a week and acting as a recognisable point of contact
  • Suited to environments where visibility matters, such as head office or customer-focused teams
  • Professional, resilient, and discreet, able to support a small but growing L&D function
  • Ambitious to grow with the team over time, without needing to own strategy from day one
