We are currently recruiting for Van Drivers for one of our clients based in Bridgend. This role involves delivering palletised goods to customer sites and using a pallet truck to load and unload safely and efficiently.

Job Description

• Safely and efficiently drive a company van to deliver palletised goods to customer locations, ensuring delivery schedules are met.
• Use a pallet truck to load and unload deliveries safely, following all manual handling and site safety procedures.
• Check deliveries against delivery notes and confirm that all goods are in good condition before and after transport.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points, maintaining a professional and helpful approach at all times.
• Complete all relevant paperwork, including delivery logs, customer signatures, and any required reports.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the van is kept clean, roadworthy, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Adhere to all road traffic laws, company procedures, and health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Clean Valid UK driving licence 
• Previous van driving or delivery experience is desirable.
• Experience using a pallet truck would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of safe loading, unloading, and manual handling practices.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A reliable, proactive, and team-focused attitude.
