Compliance Administrator (COMAD) Gosport, England
Overall Purpose of the Role
The Compliance Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the Council meets its statutory and contractual compliance obligations. This role provides essential administrative support to maintain accurate records, monitor performance, and enable the smooth, efficient running of the Compliance Service. The post holder will act as a central point of coordination, supporting the Compliance Manager and Compliance Contract Leads in delivering high‑quality, timely compliance information to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance Administration & Record Management

Maintain accurate monthly contract meeting minutes, ensuring actions and decisions are clearly recorded and circulated.

Monitor and track KPI compliance, escalating issues where required.

Upload and maintain legacy compliance certification within the new compliance system.

Support the ongoing addition of Tier 2 compliance disciplines as they are incorporated into the compliance programme.

Ensure all compliance documentation is stored, updated, and accessible in line with Council standards.
2. System Support & Data Quality

Act as a champion for the new compliance system, promoting best practice and supporting colleagues in its use.

Maintain high data quality standards, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and consistently updated.

Assist with system queries, troubleshooting basic issues and escalating technical problems appropriately.
3. Reporting & Stakeholder Support

Support the Compliance Manager and Compliance Contract Leads by preparing compliance reports, dashboards, and data summaries for stakeholders.

Provide timely information to internal teams, contractors, and external partners as required.

Assist with the collation of evidence for audits, inspections, and performance reviews.
4. General Administrative Support

Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Compliance Manager and Contract Leads, including scheduling, document preparation, and coordination tasks.

Contribute to the smooth running of the service by supporting process improvements and maintaining organised administrative systems.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively within a standard working week.
