The Job People are looking for Fabrication Production Operatives for a PM shift to join a busy manufacturing site in Coventry for long term work. 

We require candidates with some production experience with a keen eye for detail and willingness to learn new skills. 

Must be able to read & understand English. 

Must be able to sue a tape measure accurately.

Must be prepared to train on AM shift for a short period, then move on the PM Shift.

We are looking for hardworking, enthusiastic colleagues who are willing to work long term with the opportunity to gain a full-time contract.

Able to effectively communicate with managers and colleagues

Have a 'can-do' attitude and willing to learn new skills. 

This is a full time role - we do not have any part time roles. 

Shift Hours as a Production Operative in Coventry:

• Fixed shift 
• 8 hours per day
• 16.00 - 00.00 
• Some shifts may start earlier or finish later due to the demands of the business. 
• Must be able to train on the AM shift Mon - Fri 07.00 - 15.00 firstly. 
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend support required in busy periods 
• Long term work
• Opportunity to go permanent after a qualifying period.

Pay Rates for Production Operative:

• £12.71 per hour for first level whilst training on AM shift 
• £16.90 per hour when on PM shift 16.00 - 00.00 
• Overtime paid after 37.5 hours
• x1.5 and x2 rate. 
• Pay increases as and when you are trained and skilled in various tasks. 

Duties as a Production Operative in Coventry: 

• Support the warehouse facility in the fabrication department making various piped solutions. 
• Ensuring accuracy make sure no mistakes are made. 
• Accurately use various tools and be able to use a measuring tape and spirit level.
• Musty be able to count and work out measurements in MM, CM and Inches. 
• Full training provided. 
• Moving pallets and stock to various locations
• Support with loading and unloading deliveries.
• General duties as and when required.
