About the Roles
As a CMR Locum Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in mental health care across diverse settings:
Intake & Triage
Manage crisis situations in high-pressure environments, providing immediate support and stabilisation for patients in urgent need.
Inpatient
Deliver day-to-day care for patients in recovery, including medication administration, assessment, and collaborative care planning.
Community
Support patients in their own environments—offering case management, follow-up care, and continuity that drives meaningful outcomes.

What You’ll Need
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (unrestricted)
- Minimum 2 years’ Mental Health nursing experience (strong case management background preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current driver’s licence (essential for regional placements)
- Willingness to travel and commit to 12-week locum contracts
- Current Police Check
- Valid full working rights in Australia
What Are the Benefits?
- Up to $165 per day for meals & incidentals (claimed via iExpenses through NSW – receipts required). That’s $1,155 per week, and over a 12-week contract you can claim up to $13,860!
- Additional hourly rate top-up – paid as a completion bonus at the end of your contract.
