Senior/Online Surveyor (VN135) Houston, Texas
Due to continued growth, UTEC Americas are looking to engage with talented individuals to join the team in full time roles. With this in mind, we’d love to hear from Senior/Online Surveyors with relevant industry experience.
The Senior/Online Surveyor is UTEC’s representative on a watch reporting to Party Chief or senior representative on the vessel and must ensure that all work is conducted in the best interests of UTEC and the Client. They must thoroughly understand work specifications, project requirements and client objectives, and is responsible for the safe, efficient and timely execution of, as well as Quality Assurance for the project.
They supervises and/or participates in survey operations ensuring that safe working practices are adhered to at all times with due regard to contractual requirements, scope of work, procedures and regulations.
Supports mobilisation and demobilisation activities with regards to safety of personnel and assets by ensuring all systems are functioning in compliance with contractual requirements, project procedures and company procedures to effectively conduct the scope of work.
The individual upon instruction of the Party Chief/Snr personnel will support by ensuring that all data is collected, QC’d, backed up and distributed accordingly in accordance with UTEC’s Business Management System (BMS) and in line with the contractual requirements.
Actively participate and lead by example in the Company’s Quality and HSE Systems and Procedures. Understand and comply with UTEC policies and procedures and any Client specific HSEQ requests.

Education/Experience:
- Education in Geomatics/Survey degree is essential.
- Relevant industry experience (Oil and Gas and/or Renewables construction sector desirable) or military survey experience is essential.
