ABOUT THE COMPANY

TwoScots are partnering with a well-established and growing FMCG business based in Melbourne’s South-Eastern Suburbs. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Counsel to join the business on an initial 3-month casual assignment, providing practical commercial legal support across the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
• Identify contractual risks and provide practical commercial advice
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers and key stakeholders
• Support insurance, claims and other general legal matters as required
• Manage agreements through internal review and approval processes

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

• Australian legal qualification and admission to practise
• Strong commercial contract review, drafting and negotiation experience
• In-house or private practice backgrounds considered
• Commercial, pragmatic approach with strong stakeholder skills
• FMCG, consumer goods or similar experience advantageous but not essential
