We are currently recruiting skilled Mig Welders to join our growing team in Swadlincote. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a well-established manufacturer offering competitive rates of pay.

You will be responsible for:

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Fabricating and assembling parts in line with specifications
• Carrying out quality inspections on completed work
• Working safely and efficiently to meet production targets
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Previous experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to read and understand technical/engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience working with mild steel and heavy-gauge materials (desirable)
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Days Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm Friday - basic hours 44 hours per week
