Traffic Marshall / Banksman

As the Site Traffic Marshall, you will be responsible for:

• Directing and controlling the movement of vehicles entering, leaving and moving around the site.

• Safely guiding delivery drivers and plant operators when manoeuvring.

• Ensuring the safe movement of pedestrians and vehicles around the site.

• Managing site deliveries and assisting with unloading where required.

• Maintaining clear access routes and ensuring site traffic rules are followed.

• Communicating clearly with drivers, plant operators and site management.

• Wearing the appropriate PPE and following all site health and safety procedures.

Requirements for the Traffic Marshall / Banksman:

• Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshall or Banksman on a construction site.

• Valid CSCS card.

• Traffic Marshall / Banksman training or certification.

• Good communication skills and the ability to give clear instructions.

• A strong understanding of construction site health and safety procedures.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

• Full PPE and the ability to provide relevant documentation when requested.
