The Telehandler Role

As the site Telehandler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating the telehandler to support the smooth running of site operations. Duties will include:

• Operating the telehandler safely and responsibly in accordance with site rules and procedures.

• Loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials around the site.

• Carrying out daily pre-use checks and reporting any defects or maintenance issues.

• Ensuring all loads are handled safely and securely.

Requirements for the Telehandler

• Previous experience working in a Telehandler position.

• Valid CPCS Telehandler Card.

• Relevant experience within a construction/site environment.

• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure.

• Full PPE
