Are you mechanically minded? Are you looking to start your Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic Apprenticeship?
In association with MEGT, our client is recruiting for a 1st Year Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentice to join their expanding and successful team working across Gold Coast and Brisbane. Working within a professional team you will receive extensive training with the view to becoming a qualified trade professional. You will also gain experience working with various clientele and take your career to a new level.
With work based all across various sites, we are looking for a motivated, committed, and reliable person who is wanting to begin their apprenticeship, gaining practical on the job experience, whilst receiving extensive training and a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic.
You will be travelling to multiple clients’ locations and your key duties will include:
- Install, set up, test, maintain and repair refrigeration systems, large scale equipment for food storage and preservation, air conditioning and air conditioning equipment
- On the job training combined with study at TAFE
- Working with trained and qualified air conditioning and refrigeration mechanics
- Repair and install equipment at different locations
- Logging information and reports
What are we looking for?
- An ability to undertake physical work
- Someone punctual and reliable - A good work ethic!
- Someone enthusiastic and energetic
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Drivers license and car
- A valid white card
