Application Support Analyst – SharePoint – Ellesmere Port

SharePoint Analyst required for a leading manufacturing company based in Ellesmere Port to be responsible for managing SharePoint security, configurations and sites Tracking, along with managing service desk calls to resolution within agreed SLAs. You will also be responsible for supporting the SharePoint Developer to ensure effective and proper usage of the platform, including support for best practice security configuration, information management and data protection requirements.

Key responsibilities

Providing support and maintenance of existing SharePoint solutions:

• Manage SharePoint security, configurations and sites
• Tracking, and managing service desk calls to resolution within agreed SLAs
• Schedule your given tasks as required to meet deadlines

Assisting in development and deployment of SharePoint solutions:

• Assisting in projects as required, both remotely and on-site as required
• Creating professional documentation associated with SharePoint projects (technical documentation and user guides)
• Managing and meeting project milestones

Infrastructure & Security:

• To liaise with IT infrastructure services, in support of patching, applications maintenance and development activities.

• Support the SharePoint Develop to ensure effective and proper usage of the platform, including support for best practice security configuration, information management and data protection requirements.

Key Skills

• In-depth knowledge and experience of configuring and administering SharePoint (on-premise and SharePoint Online)
• Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in SharePoint Designer, Workflows and experience of Nintex useful
• Analytical / Good problem-solving skills
• Produce support documentation (technical and end-user)
• Work within an ITIL framework
• Good knowledge of associated Microsoft technologies (Teams, PowerApps, PowerBI, Flow)
• Comfortable designing and building solutions using standard functionality and 3rd party SharePoint tools

The salary my client is offering for this position £30,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
