Position: Senior Test Analyst 

Senior Test Analyst required to work closely IT Solution Design team, Test Manager, project Manager/project team and may need to interact with lab staff.

Viapath are looking for candidates who have extensive experience of working in a Senior Test Analyst role, knowledge of LIMS (Laboratory Management Information Systems) and ideally with Integration testing and end to end testing with HL7 messages experience.

You will be joining the Solution Design and Delivery team, to work closely with Software Developers and other QA engineer/s, to deliver the highest quality products in a timely manner. 

For line management, the Senior Test Analyst will report to the Test Manager. The dynamic nature of projects at Viapath mean that close interaction with Project Managers will also by key.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prepare and execute medium / complex System & integration as well as end to end test cases.
• Undertake Defect/Issue management for project testing.
• Create test strategies/ test plans for the project when needed.
• Assist project manager with creating test schedules by identifying testing tasks for the project in the project plan.
• Communicate test schedules with testers and monitor testing progress when required.
• Undertake defect management/ issue management during project testing. Really good understanding of Test Issue life cycle. Hands on experience of using defect management tool such as MS Azure tool, Quality Centre will be ideal.
• Perform review of design specifications as well as test scripts written by test analysts and mentor them when needed.
• Really good understanding of the waterfall, V model testing as well as test issue life cycle.
• Liaise with IT Design, Development teams, Suppliers or Trust stakeholders as per project requirement. Work closely with project managers and project team.
• Create Test summary report towards end of testing. Assist Test Manager with creating test exit reports when needed.

Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 per annum plus benefits.
