Scrum Master required for a leading solutions company based in Stoke-on-Trent to be responsible for guiding and coaching the Business Applications & Development teams within an agile Scrum environment. Working with these teams and cross functionally across the business you will work with stakeholders to create and manage a product roadmap, and prioritise development accordingly based on ROI frameworks and available resources.

 

Key Skills 

  • Level One Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM).
  • Experience in the Scrum Master role, ideally for a software development team.
  • Knowledge and experience of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • A working knowledge or previous experience of ZOHO Sprints is desirable, though not mandatory.
  • Highly energetic style, supportive with those learning and with sufficient controls to ensure progress is assured with the team.
  • Strong analytical skills enabling you to effectively prioritise based on a variety of metrics
  • Problem solving skills and resilience to issues and influences outside of his/her control.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Guiding the organisation on understanding the Scrum framework and agile practices in order to deliver maximum
  • Guiding and Coaching both the Business Application and the Development team in Agile/Scrum practices and values, promoting self-organisation and
  • Providing support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Scrum and
  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and

 

The salary my client is offering for this position is between £30 ,000 to £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
