iOS Developer – Swift – London

iOS Developer required for a leading company based in London to be responsible for contributing to the software development, enhancement and maintenance of new and existing internal business web applications along with brainstorming, technical design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation and on-going support.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the latest trends in software architecture and development tools.
• Ability to work and recommend technical direction in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
• Most importantly passion for technology and software development.
• Experience with iOS development (iOS SDK and XCode).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming concepts.
• Ability to write clean, testable and readable code.
• Experience with Git, understanding the Gitflow principles.
• Ability to implement non-standard UI elements.
• Knowledge of design patterns and the ability to apply them (MVVM, VIPER).
• Ability to work with Cocoapods, Carthage.
• Knowledge of SwiftUI, RxSwift would be an advantage.
• Experience with UI and Unit testing would be an advantage.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools.
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

The salary my client is offering is between £60,000 and £70,000 depending on experience.
