The Company:
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Automation Test Engineer to join one of Australia’s biggest broadcasting networks. Our client is multiplatform media organisation spanning over five unique channels, also with an extensive radio network in 70+ communities and innovative digital offering.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an innovative self-starter. You will work with engineers across EDS to implement test automation for web and mobile applications. You will use your broad experience using and developing automated testing tools and programming languages.
You will be a member of the EDS automation team and will interact with engineers across the department to lead the design, development, and automation of tests. You will recommend product improvements based on your testing results. You will work closely with EDS engineers to automate reporting of test coverage.
Processes:
- Develop unit tests
- Develop UI automation tests
- Develop API automation tests
- Develop integration automation tests
- Build tools that aid in test automation
- Build Contract bases tests where applicable
- All automation tests to be run in pipelines
Desirable:
- Experience with automation framework design and implementation
- Experience testing audio/video/network technologies a plus
- OOP and design skills and experience using Test-Driven Development principals
- Working knowledge of version control systems, configuration, and release management
- Code review experience is a huge plus
- Hands on experience in AWS stack
