Salary: AUD120000 - AUD140000 per annum

We have a brand-new role created which will incorporate technology risk, operational risk, ITIL and BCP/DR across the business. You will be dealing with critical business processes and making sure vulnerabilities are secured to make sure the business is always on.


The Role:

  • Accountability for defining, planning, orchestrating, and delivering the Technology Risk Strategy and
    embedding the Operational Risk Management Framework
  • Oversee and provide guidance and insight to Technology investment to ensure Risk / Compliance
    stance is maintained or enhanced, and in line with Standards, Policy and/or legislator expectations.
  • Advise and coach the Technology team to help identify, monitor, measure and manage its risks and
    controls, providing pragmatic and outcome-focused risk and control responses that balance
    risk/reward.
  • Lead Technology-related Audit activity, including the co-ordination, triaging, and managing of
    responses.
  • Deal with key stakeholders daily

Job Requirement:

  • Five years of Operational and Technology Risk / Compliance advisory experience in the Financial services-related industry.
  • BCP/DR Experience (Highly Regarded)
  • Identify key technology system weaknesses and come up with a plan to re-engineer processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of Risk Management practices and processes,
    including Incident and Issue Management, Risk Profiles, Risk
    Assessment, Control Design / Management, and Self Assessments
  • Demonstrable experience of influencing senior business leadership,
    strategic thinking and effective prioritization.
  • Currently in Big 4 / Industry with at least 5 years’ experience, (focus on procedures and
    processes)
  • Preferred to have a BA in Law or Commerce, but not essential.
  • Experience in talking with third party suppliers, regulators, and Investors.
  • Meticulous to a fault with a proven ability to multi-task.

The ideal candidate will be able to display strong time management, communication, and influencing skills. Proven track record in a similar position in audition and assurance of processes and procedures and be able to identify risk at a high level. You will come from a PM or Scrum background.
