The Role:
As an organisation we are now at a stage to go to the next stage of this journey as the organisation looks to mature its technology stack while expanding into other business verticals and expand overseas.
Our platform is using a wide range of Java based open source technologies from Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Docker, PostgreSQL, Angular JS/ React.
Essential Qualifications / Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience
- Proficient in handling complex technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies and design techniques
- Understands different programming languages and ability to solve problems in coding, testing and deployment
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or other pertinent Engineering discipline from a respected university
Critical Skills:
- Strong experience in Vanilla Javascript, HTML 5, CSS
- Strong experience in Java programming, Spring Framework, Relational and NoSQL database, design-thinking Demonstrated experience in React, Angular or similar and their core principles
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs & Microservices deployment and container technologies like Docker
- Advanced knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and best practices with strong focus on automation, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
