Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm + On-Call-Rota

£50,000-£55,000

As an Instrumentation & Calibration Engineer your core role & responsibilities are:

 

  • Responsible for supporting all PPM and reactive calibration, maintenance and fault finding on site instrumentation & control systems
  • Calibration temperature, humidity, pressure, flow & speed instrumentation
  • Use of Maximo CMMS systems
  • Dealing with HVAC, reactor systems, stability chambers, utilities & cold rooms
  • Maintain calibration equipment, make sure certification is current & traceable

 

 

Knowledge, skills & experience required to be an Instrumentation & Calibration Engineer in the team:

 

  • Experienced within instrumentation, calibration or controls
  • Previously have worked in manufacturing, utilities, chemicals, water or oil & gas
  • Worked on BMS systems, HVAC, reactor systems, stability chambers, cold rooms
  • Level 3 qualified or higher in engineering – ideally apprenticeship trained
  • Must be able to do instrumentation calibration – temperature, flow, speed & humidity
  • Ideally have worked to ATEX, GMP standards
  • Good computer skills – use of CMMS systems
  • Experienced with water systems, sensors, flowmeters, gas analysers – beneficial
  • Knowledge of control systems & PLC programming – desirable
