£59,000 (rising to £61,000 after 6-month training)

This site has a great culture, with brilliant staff retentions numbers and due to growth, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Biased Shift Engineer to join their team.

 

As an Electrical Biased Shift Engineer your role & responsibilities will be:

 

  • Part of a wider team of X30 engineers
  • Working on a variety of industrial processing equipment, automation, controls, network systems, conveyors, robotics, PLC’s, SCADA systems, energy plant
  • Electrical & mechanical fault finding, repairs, PPM’s, project work
  • Working on inverters, frequency systems, motors, sensors, circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, relays, VSD’s, bearings, shafts

 

Knowledge, skills & experience required for an Electrical Biased Shift Engineer:

 

  • Completed a time-served advanced modern apprenticeship
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering as minimum
  • Ideally HNC / HNC Electrical Engineering
  • Must be happy working an annualised shift rota – hours set for the whole year!
  • PLC & SCADA Systems – electrical fault finding
  • Electrical & mechanical fault finding & repair skills
  • Dealt with automation & control systems
  • Must have worked in some form of manufacturing environment
