Software Developer – Remote / C# / ASP.Net / MVC / SQL
Roc Search are currently recruiting for a Software Developer to join a highly successful team working for a leading Recycling business based in the centre of Macclesfield. This is a 100% remote position, albeit post-Covid lockdown you may have to pop into the office once a month or so, so living within 50-100 miles of Macclesfield is a bonus.
The company is a recycling business, so its benefits for the environment are immense. From a project perspective there are multiple that are ongoing as it stands, including a merge of multiple websites (including fresh code and code changes), rolling out sites of the business into different countries (so variable layouts, currencies, languages etc) – a lot of the elements are hard coded in but need to be dynamic. As with any position, there will also be elements of ongoing bug fixes, updates, upgrades, adding in new functionalities, additional features etc.
You would be joining a team of mid and senior developers, and there is ongoing training and progression as part of this position.
Though initially a 100% remote-based position, post-Covid you only have to be in the office once a month or so.
Essential skills include experience with:
- C#
- ASP.Net / MVC
- SQL
- APIs (eg building, configuring etc)
