Our client is a leading ground engineering contractor working on a variety of major infrastructure projects within the Central London area. They are known for working on complex engineering projects, this is an excellent time to join an established business with opportunities to progress due to a strong pipeline of work.

They require a Contracts Engineer on a permanent basis who has a good understanding of various piling techniques including CFA, rotary bored piling, retaining walls and deep piled foundations.

Reporting to the Project Manager they will be dealing with design issues, constructability, managing workforce both direct labour and sub-contract labour and ensuring paperwork is in order (candidates must be able to produce Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Work Package Plans.)

Candidates requirements:

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering/Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent (minimum HNC/HND)
• Ability to demonstrate sound knowledge of various piling methods & techniques
• Valid CSCS card

Site Engineer required for piling contract in Central London/West End. Working on a mixed use development, the Engineer's main duties will be:

• Overseeing health & safety and quality on site
• Coordinating deliveries/logistics
• Calling off materials
• Dealing with technical queries/RFIs
• Setting out of works (minimal)

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent (ideally degree level, minimum HNC/HND)
• Valid CSCS card
• Minimum SSSTS or SMSTS
• Excellent organisational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills

There will be an immediate start for the right candidate with the Contracts Manager carrying out a telephone interview to assess suitability.
