Day Shift            06.00 to 16.00                £12.71 per hour
Night Shift         21.30 to 06.00                 £14.25 per hour
              
We are looking for reliable and confident Car Drivers to support operations at the port of Southampton. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy practical, hands-on work and are comfortable driving a range of vehicles in a busy port environment.
The role
Working as part of the vehicle operations team, you will be responsible for moving new cars safely and efficiently around the port.

• Moving new vehicles between compounds and designated locations
• Driving and manoeuvring cars and vans in tight spaces
• Carrying out basic PDI-related tasks, including removing minor scratches and polishing vehicles
• Following site procedures and maintaining high standards of safety at all times

What we’re looking for

• A full UK driving licence held for at least 1 year
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Confidence driving and manoeuvring cars and vans
• A reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach
• Previous port, compound, driving or vehicle-handling experience would be an advantage, but is not essential
