Port Operative

Southampton Port

We are currently seeking to recruit people to work with our client in the Port of Southampton. There are two roles available, the first working with cruise vessels and the second water testing on site.

The role

• Full training provided
• Working in a team of 2 to 4 Port Operatives
• Berthing cruise vessels
• Keeping the Port location clean & tidy
• Water testing throughout the Port
• Accurate record keeping
• Full PPE provided

Hours

• Monday to Friday 07.30 to 16.00 & 07.30 to 15.00 on Friday
• Rotating shift pattern 4 on 2 off & 3 on 2 off Early 04.30 to 13.30 & 13.15 to 22.15 Monday to Sunday

The ideal candidate

• Current or recent experience in the above
• Immediately available
• Holding a UK Driving Licence for more that a year with less than 6 points
• Civil engineering, mooring , berthing of vessels
• Available for the Cruise season which is April to October
