Salary:  GBP30000 - GBP35000 per annum


Be the marketing and commercial manager for a leading professional services firm.

 

Eden Scott are excited to be partnering with a specialist professional services firm to find their next marketing and commercial manager to bring their headcount to approximately 15 staff. This position will see you leading the marketing department and working closely with the partners to evaluate the current marketing strategy and help define and implement the marketing plan going forward. Working within a B2B focused organisation whose primary clients are senior stakeholders within professional services, this role will see you organising networking events and evenings requiring a high level of attention to detail. The company also has an operations and finance manager with whom you will be working very closely with to ensure all needs of the business are being met. You, along with this other manager, will be line managing a marketing and operations graduate who has recently joined the team.

 

This position will involve all elements of marketing and no two days will be the same. As a result, this candidate will need to be able to very adaptable, able to prioritise and keep track of several moving parts at once. Your days could include the following:

  • Creating written content for the website / blogs
  • Creating template documents to ensure it’s in accordance with the style guidelines
  • Managing supplier accounts including external design agencies and suppliers creating branded goods
  • Overseeing the website maintenance and keeping it updated (coordinating with the digital agency)
  • Working with the partners to plan out the marketing strategy, including the budget, plan and primary objectives
  • Coordinating and running events, typically networking drinks or round table dinners
  • Utilising social media channels to push content – primarily Linkedin
  • Assisting the partners on corporate business development pitches.

 

 

So, who are we looking for? You’ll be a self-starter that’s looking for a new opportunity to join a growing firm. None of the above will be alien to you and you’ll be comfortable joining a team, getting up to speed quickly and getting stuck in.

  • You’ll have around 2-3 experience within marketing in a corporate environment
  • Excellent business copywriting skills
  • Able to coordinate and run business events
  • Comfortable on Linkedin
  • Able to change plans and reprioritise when required
