Class 1 Driver – Lincoln
Gi Group is recruiting dependable Class 1 Drivers to support a respected well known international parcel courier in Witham St Hughs. If you’re safety-focused, efficient across varied routes, and deliver great customer service, we’d like to hear from you.
Key details
- Location: Witham St Hughs
- Shifts: Various available – days and nights
- Pay rate: £19.89 - £20.45 per hour (dependant on shift)
What you’ll need
- Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph (DIGI) card
- Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience
- Clean driving record (max 6 penalty points, subject to endorsement codes)
Your role
- Deliver palletised goods to multiple customer sites
- 4-5 drops when working days
- Trunking only when working nights
- Work in line with health & safety and transport compliance standards
- Provide a professional, customer-first service at every drop
What we’re looking for
- Reliable and able to work independently to deadlines
- Confident driving Class 1 vehicles across different routes and sites
- Basic IT skills and a strong, polite customer manner
