THE ROLE
Underground HD Fitters, Drill Fitters and Pump Fitters required for a busy gold mine in the Goldfields. You will be responsible for breakdown and servicing of machines as required. A strong experience background and underground operations is essential for the role.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Mechanical trade qualification with minimum 2 years’ experience;
- Prior Underground Experience
- Experience with Jumbos (Drill Fitter), Boggers and Trucks (HDDF), Small plant and Pumps and experience with Paste Crew (Pump)
- Ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical drawings;
- Ability to work with others and achieve objectives;
- Commitment to continuous improvement;
- Problem solving and analytical skills;
- Time management and ensuring quality service; and
- Good verbal and communication skills.
