National Clinical Lead | Positive Behaviour Support (JN -082024-21474) Australia

Salary: AUD140000 - AUD160000 per annum + WFH options, be based in QLD or NSW

We are currently recruiting a National Clinical Lead responsible for leading the strategic direction and overall accountability for the clinical division of Positive Behaviour Support, whilst ensuring effective integration and collaboration across all disciplines within the business.

The National Clinical Lead is also responsible for communicating national service direction and ensuring that clinicians at all levels are adequately resourced, inducted, and developed professionally to meet exemplary quality customer service standards and evidence based practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 3 x State Leads and a team of 50 PBS Clinicians.
  • Support and develop Clinical Leads to ensure that they are managing clinicians to provide therapy services in-line with evidence-based practice and company policies & procedures.
  • Using information from their discipline clinical leaders to identify areas of development for their department.
  • In collaboration with Clinical Leads, identify the physical resources required for clinicians to provide services for NDIS and other participants, and ensure each location is adequately equipped to perform a range of services.
  • In liaison with clinicians & the Leadership Team, draft clear policies, procedures and guidelines applicable to the relevant discipline & client service.
  • Set the induction and onboarding framework for clinicians at all levels within relevant discipline, and ensure that Clinical Leads and Clinical Supervisors are executing actions in-line with framework.
  • Conduct in-house training sessions to upskill clinicians.
  • Contribute to and delegate tasks involved with quality improvement projects.
  • Take ownership for Professional Development Framework for Continued Professional Development (CPD) for clinicians.
  • In conjunction with the Leadership Team and other National Clinical Leads, develop & execute an internal mentoring program for clinicians at all levels.
  • Provides high level oversight and review of discipline specific service delivery for optimal business solutions.
  • Advocates, identifies and investigates strategic opportunities for growth and development of the discipline.
  • High level strategic overview of discipline for optimal business efficiencies and performance needs.

 

 

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Allied Health-specific discipline
  • Postgraduate qualifications preferred
  • Relevant Australian registration / governing body certification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Allied Profession post grad
  • Advanced level PBS registration
  • Minimum 5 years in positive behaviour support services at management level.
  • Minimum 5 years leadership experience at a senior level
  • Minimum experience managing teams of 30 staff and higher
  • Demonstration of leadership qualities
  • Must be able to work autonomously and drive projects across the business.

  • Highly refined written communication skills
  • Highly refined technical skills
  • Willingness to impart knowledge onto other staff

  • Willingness to work minimum 2 days from office
  • Willingness to travel minimum once every 2 months as a minimum.

Salary

Salary Based on experience up to $140K - $160K + Super P.A + Benefits.
