The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sponsor Services Manager to join the Sponsor Services Team. You will be developing and managing key sponsor relationships, both leading up to and during the Games, ensuring successful delivery of the Sponsor Services Programme and a high-quality experience for the sponsors. Responsibilities will include delivery of various sponsor rights to deadlines, overseeing a Sponsor Services Associate and management of sponsors throughout Games time.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in sponsor services within a sport or entertainment context. With exceptional inter-personal skills, they will have the initiative and ability to develop and lead the operational delivery of the sponsors rights. Responsibilities:
- Lead in the relationship management of a portfolio of sponsors ensuring timely and efficient delivery of rights.
- Oversee a Sponsor Services Associate in their management of a portfolio of sponsors, ensuring quality of output, strong relationships being formed and agreed service levels maintained.
- Work with allocated sponsor and the Organising Committee to efficiently launch their sponsorship and ensure all sponsor recognition is accurately updated.
- Work in partnership with the Sponsor Operations Manager and relevant Functional Areas to ensure conformance with and the efficient delivery of the brand approvals process for your sponsor portfolio.
- Ensure allocated sponsors are adhering to deadlines for the delivery of rights i.e. tickets, accommodation, hospitality etc.
- Help in the delivery of a series of networking and relationship building events.
- Play a key role in the management of sponsors at Games time in either the Sponsor Services Operation Centre or in venue, being in regular contact and efficiently resolving any issues in line with agreed protocol.

Skills and Experience:
Essential
- Experience in the planning and operation of sponsor services and the delivery of sponsorship rights in a major sport or cultural event or sports agency/body.
- A leader who can take a project from end to end and deliver great results.
- Demonstrate a full suite of project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence others and manage relationships.
- Skilled at preparation of presentation documents that are well written and well presented.
Desirable
- Project management experience in a sport event context.

Contract: Fixed-term contract until August 2022
Location: Five Brindley Place, Birmingham (full time office-based)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
